Lyophilised Saccharomyces Boulardii

Type of Medication: Probiotic

Indications: Possible role for the treatment of Clostridium difficile, prevention and treatment of antibiotic associated colitis and diarrhoea, treatment of irritable bowel syndrome

Side Effects: flatulance, constipation, itching and urticaria. Case reports of Saccharomyces cerevisiae fungemia

Route of administration: Adult (Oral)

Dose:1 to 4 capsules, 2 to 3 times a day

Administration: Contains living cells so avoid mixing with very hot or cold drinks or food
